12. COSTS AND EXPENSES; PAYMENTS
Except as otherwise specified in this Agreement, the Development Plan, or the Access and Implementation Plan, each Party shall be solely responsible for all of its own costs and expenses associated with the performance of its activities under the Collaboration Plans including, without limitation, expenses related to the attendance of its representatives at JDC meetings and neither Party shall make any payment or pay any financial contribution to the other Party in consideration of the other Party’s performance under this Agreement.
