3. LICENSE GRANT AND TERM

3.4 Unless terminated earlier as provided in Article 13, the term of this Agreement (the “TERM”) shall commence on the EFFECTIVE DATE and shall automatically expire, on the date on which the last of the claims of the patents described in the LICENSED PATENTS expire.
