This chart summarizes the alternative approaches for addressing key issues in global health alliance agreements which are more fully described in the MAP Guide. The current MAP Guide covers provisions from publicly available model or actual agreements and policies from institutions such as AUTM, Gates Foundation, IMI, MPP, NIH, CEPI, the British Government, and WHO, as well as credible unattributed agreements and provisions, and is continuingly updated and expanded to add additional language on these issues as well as to address emerging key issues. It explores the different approaches on issues including IP ownership, access to medicines, data sharing and safety, liability, and consortium structure and organization. The Guide is a major component of GHIAA’s continuing endeavor to facilitate global healthcare alliance formation.
